It has been a few years since I have been active on dA. Sorry about that but I have been busy with life as a University student. I needed to focus on my grades to keep it high in order to be qualified for Masters in the future. I also had different types of volunteer works to gain experience within my field. Now I graduated as an Honours BA in History and Theory of Art.
Currently, I am working part-time but still searching for a job within my field and it ain't easy. Hence, I have free time to paint again. I also started to do crochet. It is really calming and relaxing. I got hooked in trying out new stuff in crochet.

Hey Everyone!
I have had problems in login in to dA because I have forgotten my password. Stupid me!
I haven't really visited dA for so long because there is so many things going on in my life.
For instance, I moved. And when I say "I moved", not like moving into a new apartment but more like moving to a new country.
I'm Egyptian but I lived my whole life abroad and I don't think I'm ever going back to live in Egypt. I'm not used to the life there and plus the condition Egypt is currently in, I don't think so.
Back to moving, I moved to Canada and I have also transferred to Uni, from Sorbonne to University of Ottawa. I admit I'm a bit ignorant about Canada and thought I might face some discrimination towards Arabs or Muslims (like what is going on in America) but I didn't. I was really surprise of how Canadians are so sweet and welcoming. I'm loving this country!
I have't had any motivation to paint, draw or craft. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I'm in a new place and trying to settle in. I'm honestly not used to Winter in Canada. Like I came from a more than 30 degree Celsius country to a more than - 30 degree Celsius country. That's crazy!
That is all I have got to say. Maybe in Summer I'll update. But I'd love to know how are you guyz doing. I feel awful for being away for so long.

Summer Time

It's been so long since I updated my journal. I've been really busy with uni.
But I'm free now. Yay!!!!
I actually couldn't believe that I can speak and understand french after a year but I was wrong.
And I'm pretty impressed and happy
I'm continuing taking french courses but it's all speaking cause I want to speak fluently.
After studying french, I really want to go to France. Soon in the future I will go.
This summer I really am keeping myself busy cause last summer was the worst. I was
such a lazy bum. This time, I will be updating new artworks and I mean it.
One more thing, I entered the Musically Inspired contest and I hope on 6th of July you guys would vote
for this entry fav.me/d55nkdg
I also want to add (for any of my muslim watchers) that there is a Ramadan Contest.
